CDAC Challenges

Yay, they're back, CDAC is doing challenges again, i really like how they are doing it this time. my first challenge gave me a digi stamp to use and a saying.  so i used the image to make 3 valentines cards for my kids and the saying i used with a sympathy card.  here are the pictures of my cards.

For this card i used a heart shape design put the lacy part of a doily on the side and a deep pink and burgundy paper  in the center.  i used color pencils to color the cupid and then used a silver metallic pen for the wings and just a hint of silver.

for this card i used a lace card stock back ground cut out a vintage frame.  using colored pencils i colored the frame and cupid.

the last valentines card i used a multi colored card stock and a white lace doily.  i used colored pencils to color the cupid.  the lovely cupid was provided by "Shelly's Images"

Shelly's Images also provided a wonderful saying, and i needed to make a sympathy card, so i used this saying on top of a black doily and put it on a grayish blue colored card stock and added one of my embroidered lacy angels.
