CDAC Progressive Card Challenge 16

 Nana Vic provided the vintage looking birdcage & flowers for our card challenge.  this was my second attempt at shading for affect.  i used my color pencils for this.  i found this cut bird in among my stash of digi stamps.  i used paper from Joann's.  i do think that i would have used a darker color behind the birdcage next time, i think it would help the picture stand out more. the bottom lace that i used is a design i embroidered.
