August

It is August already, in a few weeks kids will be heading back to school.  The summer has gone by fast.

Home Front

Lots of changes happening at home.  My daughter and her family are moving in till they are able to get things situated.  It will be nice but their will be difficult times too.  I am still at Minneapolis, my grandson #5 is 6 weeks old now and boy the changes he has gone through are amazing.  He will look so different when I see him again.  I’ll be leaving here on the 10.

Store/Business News

This week I have set up files to make alphabet & number cards, lacey Christmas ornaments, lace angels, match game cards, I have a few more files to get set up and then it is time to do lots of embroidery to get these things done and put up for sale by the middle of October.  Wish me luck!

Pictures

The pictures this week are of some flannel blankets I made for grandson, he is getting bigger so he needed a few more bigger blankets.  When I was all done I came to the realization that maybe I should have serged the edges of the blankets to give them a smoother edge.  What do all of you sewers out there think?
